Relationship Energy – Friday October 12, 2018 – 5 of Cups

Relationship Energy – Friday October 12, 2018 – 5 of Cups

The 5 of cups reminds you that you need to re-evaluate and re-order priorities. There is a need to curb futile belligerence and accept what has happened. Only then can you move forward to embrace the change that comes and bring new opportunities.

The energy around the 5 of Cups can alert you to the possibilities of a loss and make you aware of the emotional toll that it entails. The 5 of Cups may indicate the end of a relationship or the end of a phase in a relationship. Either way, you are feeling disappointed. It could mean that you are at a new phase in the relationship and you are missing the way things were. You may feel adrift and unable to face the current situation, whether it is moving forward in the new phase of the relationship, or moving forward without a partner. No matter what the current situation you need to re-order and re-evaluate priorities. You may use this card as a warning to help you avoid loss, or at least reduce its toll, forewarned is forearmed.

Thought this card may indicate loss or disappointment it is also a reminder that every loss opens new possibilities for growth because every loss initiates change. Many times loss hurts because it is our emotional resistance to change. No matter how much we accept intellectually that we must go with the flow if the “flow” separates us from something we love our initial feeling say “no” very strongly.

The energy of the 5 of Cups indicates that you should acknowledge how you are feeling but not wallow. Look at what you still have and make the most of it.

If you are single this energy could represent that you are feeling lonely but do not have any hope of having a happy relationship. Again let go of the past and pick up the pieces and move forward. You still have something to offer and you are still an important person no matter what has gone before. Two cups are still standing that means you are still standing too.

Relationship Energy – Thursday, October 11, 2018 – 8 of Swords

Relationship Energy – Thursday, October 11, 2018 – 8 of Swords

The energy of the 8 of Sword often indicates a situation in which you feel a lack of freedom and choice. The 8 of Swords wish to remind you that you do have choices, you do have power. No matter how trapped you feel you can find a way out if you believe it is possible. Solutions are not always easy but they exist, find your clarity of thought and purpose and use them to find your way.

The energy of the 8 of Swords indicates that you are stuck but only because you are afraid to cut yourself loose. If you are in a relationship this energy can mean that your relationship needs to move to the next level but it does not feel like the right time to make that move. It could also mean that there is no next level because you are involved in an unproductive relationship. Either way, you need to find your clarity of thought and purpose and use them to take the steps necessary to become unstuck. Being indecisive will work against you in this case.  If your reason for being in your relationship is not for love then find the solution needed to start things moving. Solutions are not always easy but they exist.

If you are single the energy of this card could mean that you are about to meet the love of your life. Or it could mean that you are lonely but refuse to do anything to change your circumstance. This card indicates you need to take a good look at what is stopping you from making the changes you need in your life and relationship. This time it is not someone or something else it is you that is holding yourself back.
