“Rebuilding trust when it’s been broken is not dependent only on the person who has broken it, or how many times they can prove they are honest. It depends on the person who has decided not to trust anymore. Though they may be totally justified in their decision not to trust, as long as they choose not to, the relationship has no hope of survival and should be ended. If or when they decide to trust again, there is hope reborn. ” Doe Zantamata

“Loving and supporting someone is not the same as loving and supporting someone’s actions if they are harming themselves or others. The first, encourages, the second, enables. It takes courage to say, “I love you, but I can’t support what you’re doing.” But that will give them incentive to change much more than hoping they’ll change ever will. Easier said than done, but better done than only wished for. ” Doe Zantamata

“People wonder how they can have faith when there seems to be no reason to have any. But that is the most important reason to have it. A belief is the spark, but it alone cannot sustain. It must be nourished with faith in order to grow and remain. The strength of positive beliefs and faith will lead to energy, opportunities, open-mindedness, and possibilities that just would not exist without them. ” Doe Zantamata

“If someone says they will do one thing, but then they do the opposite…You have two choices: 1. Assume why, or 2. Ask why. They may have a logical answer, but you’ll never really know unless you ask. ” Doe Zantamata

“Others will treat you exactly as you treat yourself. Once you love yourself, you will not be able to tolerate poor treatment. You will be able to see that although they may call it love, it’s actually something else. “Do unto others as you’d have done to you” also means “do unto yourself as you would do to others.” If someone is treating you poorly, just don’t allow it. You would not do that to someone else. If they continue, remove yourself from that relationship. They may not even be capable of treating others well, but that you can’t fix. ” Doe Zantamata
