This card indicates that whatever battle you have been fighting you lost. It does not, however, means you are beaten. You have been badly hurt by something that was said or done, you feel betrayed. You took a chance and it did not come out the way you thought it would. You have options, you can accept that it is over and walk away. You can look at the part you played in your hurt and approach the relationship with a desire for renewal but that is only if you listen to your own inner voice about what works and what does not.

So even though it seems that the energy of this card indicates bad things have happened it also indicates that you can pull the swords from you back and choose a path that will give you a better outcome.
