“What you impress people by is what you are impressed by in other people. If you are impressed by kindness and generosity, that means those things are in you, and you believe they are important. Those who are impressed by displays of status, power, flash, or waving money around don’t yet see the value in the qualities those actions show are lacking in that person…humility and gratitude. If a person doesn’t value your good qualities, it doesn’t mean they’re not important. They’re just not important to that person, and probably not present in them because of that. “Doe Zantamata

“Every thought, every spoken word, every action sets a process in motion. We control what we send out, but not the results or consequences that follow. Good intentions set forth with the goal to destroy a perceived wrong will cause destruction in their wake. Good intentions set forth in love will yield good results, eventually. Be conscious of method even when certain of good intentions. “Doe Zantamata

Beltane Blessings

One of the animals associated with Beltane is the swan. The magical meaning of the swan is love, union, and partnership: swans mate for life. Just as the Goddess and God join in union on Beltane, swans reflect this eternal commitment in their own union. Swans also represent loyalty, fidelity, and faithfulness, reflecting the joining of Mother Earth and Father Sun when the sun is released from its bondage of winter and able to rule over summer and life once again. Swan symbolism includes grace, power, inner beauty, elegance, purity and balance.

“Your mind wants to be right, but your soul wants the truth. This is why you should never discuss conflicting ideas in anger or sadness. Anger and sadness are emotions of the mind. When faced with the truth that your soul recognizes, you will feel it in your heart, but with the anger or sadness, your mind will force you to keep arguing, find something else to be right about, or deny being wrong. This prevents the truth and peace from returning. ” Doe Zantamata
