The energy of the High Priestess is asking you to go deeper, to look beyond the obvious, surface situation to what is hidden. This card also asks you to recall the vastness of your potential and to remember the unlimited possibilities you hold within your self. When this card comes up it can represent a time of waiting and allowing. It is not always necessary to act to achieve your goals. Sometimes they can be realized through a stillness that gives desire time to grow within the fullness of time.

The High Priestess indicates a need to pay attention to your dreams and listen to your intuitive inner voice for information on how to deal with your relationship. She counsels patience, waiting for the right time for action and relying on your intuition rather than logic. Intuition, wisdom and inner knowing help resolve relationship dilemmas, and intuitive insight suggest new solutions to keep things moving in a positive direction.

In a relationship, the person represented by the High Priestess may appear to be aloof and unreachable at times. They tend to come and go as they please and this can be very unsettling in a committed relationship. This is not an indication that they do not love you or that they have lost interest in you. This is just the nature of a person represented by the High Priestess card. They require stimulating conversation, books, documentaries, people, places, and situations. The best solution to this is to provide some of this much-needed stimulation within the relationship.

If you are single and your attention is caught by someone with the energy of the High Priestess they are not trying to be difficult or hard to know. Their nature is cool, secretive, and as changeable as the cycles of the moon. However, if you offer stimulating conversation and insights you will snag their attention.

The Queen of Swords energy indicates you need to ask yourself are you being completely honest? Are you getting right to the point? Are you allowing yourself to see the humor in the situation? Are you sure you have figured out what’s going on? The use of inner wisdom and truth are important now.

If you are in a relationship and this card comes up it indicates a need to be less rigid in how you are handling things. Again it is okay to want things to go by the book but that is not always going to achieve what you or your partner desire so relax a little and live a lot.

If you are single the Queen of Swords indicates that the person you are attracted to may be mentally agile and witty but they are not very warm.

The energy around the 5 of Cups can alert you to the possibilities of a loss and make you aware of the emotional toll that it entails. The 5 of Cups may indicate the end of a relationship or the end of a phase in a relationship. Either way, you are feeling disappointed. It could mean that you are at a new phase in the relationship and you are missing the way things were. You may feel adrift and unable to face the current situation, whether it is moving forward in the new phase of the relationship, or moving forward without a partner. No matter what the current situation you need to re-order and re-evaluate priorities. You may use this card as a warning to help you avoid loss, or at least reduce its toll, forewarned is forearmed.

Thought this card may indicate loss or disappointment it is also a reminder that every loss opens new possibilities for growth because every loss initiates change. Many times loss hurts because it is our emotional resistance to change. No matter how much we accept intellectually that we must go with the flow if the “flow” separates us from something we love our initial feeling say “no” very strongly.

The energy of the 5 of Cups indicates that you should acknowledge how you are feeling but not wallow. Look at what you still have and make the most of it.

If you are single this energy could represent that you are feeling lonely but do not have any hope of having a happy relationship. Again let go of the past and pick up the pieces and move forward. The energy of the Devil card indicates that you need to examine your assumptions carefully. make sure you are not working from a false picture of yourself or the situation. This is the time to hold fast to the highest vision of who you are. The Devil card can indicate possessiveness and dominate energy around you. It may also indicate that you and your significant others focus is on the material world. Money and material well being are now important and that is okay too. Be careful not to let the pursuit of money and material things turn to greed and avarice or become more important than your relationship.

This card indicates strong intense passion in a relationship. It is the kind of love that you feel you can not live without. You feel as if being without this love would be unbearable emotionally. You may find your self-affected on a physical level by the strong emotions involved in this relationship. Due to the intensity of the emotions involved with this card, it can become emotionally painful. The strong emotions are not bad, but it is helpful if your relationship evolves from this state to something more comfortable and balanced. Maintaining this level of passion could cause the relationship to devolve to ugly behavior especially if one partner begins to balance out their passion before the other.
